TITULIA CITY | Linardist Party President FG Handy has told President Dennis McVicker that he is not welcome in the Linardist Party by its leaders. FG Handy wrote:
Dennis:
As president of the Linardist Party, I'm writing to let you know the
results of discussions held by our party leadership over the weekend
regarding your joining our ranks. I regret to inform you that we believe it
is inappropriate at this time for you to become a member of the
Linardist Party.
We do not close the door on the possibility of your membership in the
future. However, there needs to be more time to establish trust, given
the history of our relationship. In addition, it was not lost on some of
our members that as recently as last week, you publicly stated that you
might have approved a declaration of war against us, had you been made
aware of the plans by your vice president. You also stated that, even
after you joined our party, you did not like the Linardists. For obvious
reasons, statements such as these give our members cause for concern.
At this time, we respectfully request that you withdraw your membership
from the Linardist Party. We hope you understand the reasons why we feel
compelled to make this request. At the same time, we sincerely hope for
a positive relationship between our party and you, and as we build such
a relationship over a period of time, we are hopeful about the
possibility of being able to extend to you an invitation for membership
at some point in the future.
Sincerely,
F.G. Handy
President
Linardist Party
President McVicker has left the party and is currently not affiliated with any party.
RETRACTION:We apologize for the error stating that Gregory Hock was Party President. FG Handy is the Party President and it is stated in his letter response. We fully apologize for the error.
