TITULIA CITY (TNC News) | A Presidential Election has been initiated and Former Commerce Secretary Dennis McVicker (Lib) and September 2010 Election runner-up Will Wilberforce (SDP) are the first candidates to announce their candidacy. Mr. Wilberforce and Mr. McVicker lost the September race to President Renee Buchanan (LRP), who may not seek a second term.
The LRP have concluded their party convention, and are expected to announce a nominee. It is likely that a new nominee may have been selected. Reported possible nominees are LRP Leader Reg C Ambrose, or a cross-ticket with Vice Pres. Gregory Hock (LN).
