TITULIA/President Norton’s Coalition ends as RNC shows growing opposition

breakingnewsnew2

TITULIA CITY (TNC News) | The LRP-RNC Coalition ended today with the LRP voting to opt-out. This comes as RNC Leader JP9893 (R-GOP) requested support for Vice Pres. OwenMerry (R) in his impeachment vote. However, the RNC was growing dissatisfaction with Pres. Norton’s Administration, citing his support for the previous LN-SDP governments and opposing legislation. The final straw was the Impeachment trial of Coalition Vice Pres. OwenMerry. New TC Polls shows a 17% drop in support for Pres. Norton among RNC Members – lowering it from 50% to 33%. However, 17% of RNC Members polled remain undecided. The LRP has also accused the RNC Leadership of pursuing the LRP for financial opportunities. RNC Leader JP9893 said that this is incorrect and has called for an apology.

Despite his previous support for the now-former coalition, RNC Leader JP9893 has experienced a bounce of support due to his support for Owen. Mr JP now has a 50-50% Chance of re-election against Former RNC Chairman JI981993 (R-Con), who has promised an end to the coalition. However, his approval rating is down one point to 49%-50% disapproval.

TNC News and its affiliates have learned that the RNC Council was planning a referendum on the Coalition deal. This leaves an unknown future for both parties, particularly the support stricken RNC.
