TITULIA CITY (TNC Business) | Acting-TNC Chairman JI981993 (R-Con) is reportedly considering asking the government for a license fee for TNC. A proposed deal would set up a government-funded public access channel that TNC would manage and shows shown on the “National Channel” may be dropped in order to meet the government’s demands. However, Former TNC Chairman Julian says it it ‘highly unlikely’ that such a request would be made because his show would be cancelled and TNC would restrict its programs to pro-government propaganda.
TNC’s goal would be to increase its audience and influence, as the new TNC Chair seeks to make TNC “Titulia’s BBC”.
UPDATE: TNC Staff will not request a license fee and will continue raising revenue via adverts. TNC Chairman JI981993 has said he is considering contacting Arts Secy Pijanowski on creating a C-SPAN (government/public affairs) channel which would be owned by the government and operated by TNC (similar to Australia’s a-pac and UK’s BBC Parliament).
