TITULIA-BUSINESS/TCMC Chairman considers move if Housing Act is passed

 

TITULIA CITY (TNC Business) | TCMC Chairman JI981993 (R-Con) said he is reconsidering endorsing Commerce Secy Gerry Brady’s Housing Bill as Mr Brady has contacted to him about the bill due to TC MediaCorp’s big business position. Mr JI said the bill would lease land to the government while TCMC could earn up to T$ 40/month in government leases. The bill has mixed support in the RNC with Leader JP9893 supporting it and having problems maintaining that support. If the former RNC Chairman fully endorses this bill, this could gather center-right RNC voters to support as it well – including Former Pres. Julian and Former Titulia Entertainment CEO SOVfan.

TCMC is already plotting to move up to 1st Street and establish a “TCMC Centre” that will span 4 real estate spaces if Mr Brady can reassure the company will earn the lease money from the government.

TCMC currently has T$7617 in profits, but is barely steady. TCMC expected to earn more cash with the opening of TNC two – only to close it two months later. TCMC desperately tried ventures in left-wing politics, air transport, and local Titulia City news in order to raise revenue. However, revenue is currently only obtained through links as no one has advertised on any TCMC papers since Early May 2010.

TCMC would have to spend about T$ 500/space in order to build this new centre. Meaning, this space can cost up to T$ 2,000 – and it would lose its top spot as the richest company to close competitor to MC Daddy D (LN) ‘s Double D Construction. While only gaining up to T$ 160/month from the government.

TCMC is also trying to persuade the government to establish a government/public affairs channel similar to C-SPAN , cpac, a-pac, or BBC Parliament. If TCMC manages to persuade the government, it is unknown if TC MediaCorp will request a license fee as the channel’s operator. However, TGPAtv – the Julian-era Govt Channel being re-established – would not have any ties to the company as TNC’s News Services or Programs would not be broadcast on the network. TCMC Chairman JI981993 told TNC Business that TNC may provide Breaking News during a live event when needed. All signs point to TCMC using UStream (the notable broadcaster that failed to record TJ Norton and Julian’s conversation) due to new broadcaster Livestream’s commercial breaks. The reason for UStream may also be in order to collect a license fee as reported above.

Mr JI said he is still considering his position and his offer and will draw up a potential new headquarters. Its current land space would be sold or retained.
