It is highly likely that he will be their choice,as it seems SDP Leader and President Reformer is not running for a full term as President. If confirmed, Delacruz would face LRP-RNC Nominee OwenMerry (R) – who is facing opposition from the Linardists and SDP for not apologizing for comments, being a convicted felon, among other things.
