TITULIA/BREAKING: RNC INITIATES ELECTION – EXPECTED TO NOMINATE OWENMERRY

TITULIA CITY (TC-Daily) | RNC Leader Julian (R-Con) initiated an election today after the RNC Council voted last week to initiate one on Tuesday. It is unknown who the RNC will nominate, but with RNC Chairman JI981993 and GOP Branch Pres. JP9893 running for the leadership – Freemarketeers Branch Pres. OwenMerry is the likely candidate. The RNC Leadership has not announced who its candidate is and talks with the LRP have been good, according to a source. It is unknown yet if the LRP and the RNC have reached a deal yet – but it is highly likely considering support for a Fusion candidate. The SDP and Linardists are expected to nominate someone soon – but current Pres. Reformer (SDP) may not run due to a decline in popularity.

Meanwhile, in the RNC – The public prefer to see GOP Branch Pres. JP9893 re-ascend to the RNC Leadership over brother and RNC Chairman JI981993 (R-Con). Mr. JP was party leader from Julian’s 1st resignation to join the PFP in September 2009 to Julian’s return in December. JP’s tenure was seen as a caretaker as RNC was preparing to merge with the PFP. However, a successful RNC Presidential Nominee in October, Gregory Hock (LN) ascended to the presidency ,thus reviving the party.

RNC Chairman JI981993 (R-Con) was the de-facto RNC Leader while Current RNC Leader Julian was the President of Titulia. He continues to remain influential as the Editor-in-Chief of two popular papers – The Titulian Conservative and The RNC Daily. JI is reportedly Outgoing Ldr Julian’s clear favorite to succeed him. However, Mr. JP remains the most popular Republican in Titulia – as said by several Titulians in our poll. 60% of Titulians want to see JP ascend to the RNC Leadership.  JI is expected to fight strong for the leadership despite his brother’s popularity outside the party. He switched branches and left OwenMerry’s Freemarketeers branch to take Current RNC Leader Julian’s branch presidency in the Conservatives. He faces a challenge from newcomer Thomas Rourke, but is expected to win the branch presidency. JI and JP are currently in a truce mode in which neither of them will initiate a leadership election until JI can secure a spot on the ticket for RNC Leader.
