TITULIA CITY (TNC Newswire) | LRP Leader Leah Carmody (LRP-GOP Br.) has declined to seek re-election. In the GOP Branch, Ms Carmody declined to seek re-election. Nevertheless, this does not mean she is no longer party president. GOP Branch Leader-elect Reg C Ambrose is expected to initiate a leadership election to formally take Ms Carmody’s place. This leadership election comes at a time that the RNC is in talks with the LRP on a formal coalition. RNC Ldr. Julian has already confirmed to have spoken to the new (de-facto) LRP Party Leader-elect, Reg C Ambrose.Coalition talks are said to be “going well” according to an RNC Leadership source. RNC Leader Julian is expected to retain his RNC Leadership position at least until the Presidential election. It is already confirmed that RNC Chairman JI981993 (R-FM), once the de-facto RNC Leader during Julian’s Titulian Presidency will seek the RNC Leadership after dropping out of the Presidential Nominee primary. This leaves one nominee left on the primary that has not yet been made public. One potential candidate, GOP Branch Pres. JP9893 (R) is expected to seek the leadership, meaning Freemarketeers Branch Pres. OwenMerry (FM) may be the candidate considering is the only other most-active RNC Member. RNC Ldr. Julian is not expected to retire from politics and will instead seek a seat in the new legislature once it has been formed.
