TITULIA-BUSINESS/TCMC INTRODUCES SUBSCRIPTION-ONLY PAPERS

TITULIA CITY (TNC) | TC MediaCorp is set to launch the new RNC Daily on July 1st – According to an RNC Official. However, the new RNC Daily will only be accessible by subscribers. In order to raise revenue for the RNC, the Leadership decided to make the highly read paper private. Viewing is only free to RNC Members, but an e-mail address is required to access the site. Non-RNC and Former RNC Members are allowed to view the site for a fee. It is T$15/month for Former RNC Members and double that amount : T$30/month for non-RNC Members. This may cause a major decrease in reading for the popular paper, but it may also increase revenue for the RNC (they are expected to get 80% of profits with 20% going to TC MediaCorp).
The Titulian Conservative decided to follow the RNC Daily and released an exclusive version of TC called TC+plus that includes more exclusive content not in the free version. TC+ will cost T$ 20/month for all and is not free to anyone.
TC MediaCorp is experiencing bad PR following President Julian’s Question Time held in the TCMC-sponsored RNC Plaza caused an archive crisis that may lead to his removal from office.
