TOKYO (TNC) | Japansese PM Yukio Hatoyama becomes the 4th recent Prime Minister of Japan to resign. The PM resigned over the U.S. bases in Okinawa that many opposed. However, he did not keep his promise on removing them. His leftist Democratic Party won the August 2009 election against the long ruling center-right Liberal Democratic Party.
