TITULIA CITY (TNC) | According to new numbers, Only 9.3% of Titulians are active. With only 106 out of 1138 citizens active this week, the inactivity crisis is worsening. In a statement to TNC, RNC Leader Julian reports that an even lower amount of his party is active (not specified). This inactivity fallout has caused many to leave and give up on Titulia. President Bill Money announced earlier that he would NOT step up for another term as Titulia’s President. Press Secy and RNC Leader Julian has also stated that he is losing interest in Titulia and may be gone as late as July.
TNC will release new polls on the preferred candidate for President soon to replace President Money.
TC is reporting that RNC Leader Julian is considering stepping up to the challenge, as he is one of the few consecutively active citizens still around (along with many Linardists, few Republicans, some independents)
However, if Julian seeks to run for President he would most likely want to create a parliamentary system. TC’s projection shows that Mr. Julian would have to coalition with someone if he wants to be the nation’s first Prime Minister. The RNC and Julian argue that a parliament would increase activity.
He would also need to gain votes. He has many dissenters among the Liberal Republicans and the Linardists. He would not expect any support from the Social Democratic Party due to their completely different ideologies.
Report from TC below on possible parliament:
Next Titulian general election | ||||
---|---|---|---|---|
All 10 seats to the Provisional Parliament | ||||
On or before 11 June 2015 | ||||
Leader | Julian | Bill Money | Reformer | |
Party | Republican | Linardist | SDP | |
Leader since | December 2009 | 2009 | 2009 | |
Leader's seat | TCMC & RNC HQ | East Titulia (currently President) | TBD (currently Vice Pres.) | |
Seats won | 4 (-1 from LRP) | 4 (-1 from LRP) | 2 (-1 from LRP) | |
PM-elect TBD |
NOTE: The Liberal Republicans have the highest possible chance of gaining seats from Republicans and Social Democrats. They have a +2 member advantage than the SDP and may gain Centrist to Liberal votes. Perhaps if the Lib Repubs make gains, they may coalition with their mother party, the Republicans (unless they get more than 5 seats for a majority). However, it remains unknown who would be in charge. Julian badly wants to be in leadership position.
If the RNC-Coalition wins the next Presidential Election, this could be a reality. The reward would be an outpouring increase of activity concerning negotiation, debating, and more.
