TITULIA/New Amendment makes substantive props pass faster

TNCpropwatch

TITULIA CITY (TNCweb) | Attorney General William Tvarivich (LN) has introduced a prop that would reduce the votes needed for a substansive prop to pass. A prop would need a simple majority within 5 days to pass.  The following below is the full text of the prop:

"2. The 'Substantive Proposition' is thereby reviewed by the President(or appointee thereof) and the author. Changes to the proposition made be made, as long as they remain germane to the original intent of the Proposition. Revisions are not required; however, once the substantive proposition has been re-submitted to a vote, it may no longer be edited. The author of the Proposition holds final say on all revisions."
Clause 3 shall be struck from the Act.
Clause 4 shall be renumbered to Clause 3 and shall be revised to read as follows:
"3. Following the Revision Period, the President(or appointee thereof) will post the “Substantive Proposition”, and the vote will be open for five days. At the end of the five days, if the proposition passes by simple majority then it will become a Ratified Proposition and will be forwarded by the President to the Admin for implementation. Only the Admin can veto a Ratified Proposition."
Clause 5 shall be renumbered to Clause 4 and shall be revised to read as follows:
"4. Once a ratified proposition has passed Admin approval, it shall be added to the 'Legal Code of Titulia,' which must be accessible to all citizens."

The RNC’s GOP Branch endorsed the bill according to RNC Council Member Lea Carmody (R-GOP).
