TITULIA CITY | With Round 1 Voting starting, RNC-AAP Fusion nominee Atty Gen Drmanhaton (AAP) has decided to drop out and endorse President Hock. He stated in the forum:
It is with some sadness that I have decided to withdraw from the Presidential race. I apologise now to all those who are disappointed by the news. Recent events have tarnished this election and I will not have the name of the AAP tarnished with the rest.
After some discussion with close friends I realise that the current President strongly believes in the AAP cause and I have personal faith and conviction that he will do right by it. Hock is also a good President that needs his AG at his side today. I took on that duty and I will hold to it. I will defend the President against these legal actions.
Hock has made a lot of progress during his term and I feel that he needs one more term to finish what he has started. One more term is all that I am willing to allow without change. I hope to remain the AG under his administration as I hope to continue to pressure the Admin and build the AAP during this time.
My dream is that the AAP will emerge in the next election stronger and wiser. My hope is that the Admin will abdicate to our requests and the AAP will not have a reason to return.
I also now see much more fruitful methods and tactics to pursue in the coming weeks which will pressure and yield results from the Admin sooner rather than later. The AAP will remain unburdened to pursue its platform unattached and unhindered by administrative responsibilities.
For these reason I hope that the members of the AAP vote for Hock and support him so that the AAP’s struggle does not end in disappointment with this election but rather continues with strength combined with the vigour of our allies into the next term.
Some members may disagree and that is their right. The AAP forces no one.
Support the AAP, vote for Hock
While Drmanhaton has decided to go for Hock, his nominator, RNC President Julian (R-Con) has decided to endorse PFP Nominee Former Pres Luxis Avaram (I). Julian stated:
As there is no longer an RNC nominee, I hereby endorse Luxis Avaram for President. He will bring true reform to Titulia as he previously did and under his strong leadership, we can see progress.
Julian
RNC President
