TITULIA/GC nominee Bishop withdrawn

TNCbreakingnews

TITULIA CITY | In a letter to citizens,President Teacher withdrew Bishop Johann’s nomination due to alleged child molestation in the US. Johann has also not responded to the citizens’ questions and these allegations.

Letter to citizens:

Fellow Titulians,
Please be advised that effective immediately, I have decided to withdraw Bishop Johann's nomination as an Associate Justice. My reasons for doing so are as follows:
1. Bishop Johann has been accused as being involved in child sex abuse scandal whilst a Roman Catholic priest in the United States. It is alleged that his Titulia profile details are very similar to the details and work history of a priest exposed as a paedophile. The Bishop has since failed to respond to this accusation, and to my request for clarification on this issue.
2. Since his nomination, Bishop Johann has also failed to answer the citizens questions in the forums in respect of his suitability despite being informed that this is a crucial part of the process.
3. In my view, Bishop Johann is no longer sufficiently active in the Republic's affairs to merit an appointment to such a high office.
Thank you for voting, and I hope that you can all appreciate the reasons for my action, and the need to protect our younger (minors) citizens.
Sincerely,
President Teacher
