TITULIA CITY – Despite the June election just wrapping up,a Presidential election was called today by Former President Dennis McVicker (L),who is running. Candidates so far include himself and OwenMerry (UIP).Incumbent President Trvthseeker has resigned. According to Admin:
"Today, the President of the republic officially submitted his resignation.
"This is an unprecedented event for which there is currently no software feature by which the president could resign himself.
"However, since citizen Trvthseeker also announced his desire to emigrate, we had no other choice than accepting his request and removing him as president of the republic.
"Therefore, the republic has no president. New presidential elections can be called by presidents of founded parties at any time."
Trvthseeker wrote on his blog stating:
For any grief that I may have caused Dennis I apologize without hesitation. I went into damage control mode last night when I believed that two of the most active citizens were leaving Titulia. I knew I needed to quell panic. So act I did. I acted on my own, I should have consulted further. Again, I apologize.
"The rest is up to Dennis. If he accepts my apology, then great, I will continue to implement my agenda I set forth last night. If he doesn't I see no reason to stay in Titulia as he will continue to be antagonistic to myself and those I am friends with. Titulia is supposed to be fun, but there is no fun in any of this. I will simply hit the emigrate button and cease to exist
With a response from Fmr Pres Dennis McVicker:
"I do not believe the apology is enough to undo the damage done by your previous blog, I'll be consulting with an attorney regarding this matter. It's not as if an apology makes up for the damage you have done to my reputation."
Now-Fmr Pres Trvthseeker will be able to avoid McVicker’s lawsuit as he plans on emigrating tomorrow at around noon.
