TITULIA/BREAKING NEWS:Linardist election scam

TWNbreakingnewsThis article is from The Titulian Conservative. It has not been edited from that paper.

Former President Dennis McVicker (L) stated on his blog that the Linardists and The Times promised their Presidential Candidate Bill Money (LN) will step down before the 1st round of voting began if McVicker promises to switch to the Linardist party after the election.

Here is the email posted by President McVicker:

I spoke with Biggs. He envisions a scenario in which Money can get into the second round. According to his count, Money will get no less than 15 votes in the first round — as I mentioned, several prominent citizens have encouraged Money and are supporting him, but in secret. Biggs thinks 15 votes may be enough to get to the second round when anything can happen.

Here's a scenario he said he might could get down with:

1. Confidentially, and off-the-record, you agree to become a Linardist after you are reelected with our help. This will not be made public beforehand. He said we would probably need that in writing.

2. Money withdraws before the voting begins tomorrow.

3. The Linardists and The Times endorse your candidacy and deliver our votes to you.

4. You are reelected and announce you are leaving the Libertarian party to become a Linardist.

Whaddya think of that? FYI, this has not been discussed with Bill.

Now in the end,Money DID lose in the 1st Round and the Linardists ended up giving their full support to Trvthseeker (W), as seen by the ads in The Times. It is unknown whether Trvthseeker (W) was given the same deal. McVicker denied the deal,as stated in his blog.He stated:

I will not negotiate for your support, either I have it or I don't.  This election does not mean enough to me for me to risking losing all credibility by selling out the Libertarian Party.  If you guys do not want to support me that is on you guys.  I'll campaign; if I win, I win, and if I lose, I lose.  Like I said if you guys will be happy with a Trvhseeker presidency go for it.

OPINION/What do you think of the Linardist deal? Do you think The Times are biased to the Linardists?
